Attention parents of student athletes:  The Elk Grove Unified School District is hosting a meeting regarding the Voluntary Athletic Contribution program and its possible implementation in 2010-11.   The Voluntary Athletic Contribution program is designed to maintain athletics in the Elk Grove Unified School District through a “pay to play" model.  Monterey Trail High School needs 4 parent volunteers to attend this meeting and provide the district with input.  Interested parents should contact MTHS Athletic Director Rick Arcuri at rarcuri@egusd.net or (916) 688-0070 for the date, time and location.
